Halo Reach Online Multiplayer can be difficult when you are a beginner, most people will get angry and maybe even stop playing the game altogether. So I wrote these tips to help give you an advantage and so you don’t have to start from rock bottom like I had to, each playlist can have different tips but mostly they can be used in all of them.
I have listed each tip has a bullet point so you can easily see them all.
* Crouch to greatly improve accuracy with any weapons that has bloom, but this does mean you will loose more movement so choose carefully when to use this.
* Ever wonder why the other player is always beating you with the Assault Rifle then try this., use short taped trigger bust with the AR to gain more damage and accuracy.
* Best advice I can give you in Team Slayer is to make sure your team is controlling the power weapons, most players already know this but if not then communicate with them and point out which powers your going for and where you want them go. Here is the power weapons locations and spawn times.
* If your in a team, you and your teams mates shoot at one person to kill them quicker.
* Try to save your self or team members when with no shield because in the long run less deaths means less your opponents score.
* Make sure you have the right equipment to play the game, maybe headphones and a microphone to communicate with your team members.
* Go into a match with confidence you can win, you would be surprised how much this can help.
* Pace your DMR and Needle Rifle shots to win more 1Vs1.
* Try do beat downs instead of assassination (specially in SWAT) you can be killed easily when performing them.
* Don’t always chase enemy around corners, you never know who or what they have waiting for you e.g. shotgun, team mates.
* In Team Slayer try to crouch this makes you invisible on the radar, it is useful for when you have shotgun or sword and waiting around the corner.
* Like to jump around on SWAT I do I find it keeps me alive longer, try changing your control configuration to Bumper Jumper this allows you to use LB to jump leaving your right hand to aim and shoot.
* Killing noobs too easy , search for you skill level to improve your self it may take longer to find a game but at least you know they aren’t going to be has easy. (Check you skill level at HaloCharts in each play list)
* Turn off the vibration on your controller for better shots, I improved a lot more with the DMR accuracy when I did this.
